Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DocInterpreterand the website docinterpreter.com(collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately atsupport@docinterpreter.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Plans, Credits and Billing

New users receive a limited number of free credits. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. One credit corresponds to processing one page of a document.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your billing portal; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or bypass rate limits, authentication or any security measure.
• Resell, sublicense or rebrand the Service without our written permission.
• Upload content containing malware or material designed to harm the Service or other users.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Handling is further described in ourPrivacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates or due to factors beyond our control.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for high extraction accuracy, we do not guarantee any particular accuracy rate or that the output is free from errors. You are responsible for verifying extracted data before relying on it for accounting, legal, financial or other critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocInterpreter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that creates legal or operational risk for us or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or via a notice in the Service). Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
