Can it read faded or crumpled receipts?+
Yes. Thermal receipts that have started to fade, creased paper and phone photos taken at an angle are all handled. The AI reads the characters rather than relying on a clean scan.
What fields does it extract from a receipt?+
Merchant name and address, merchant tax ID, receipt number, date, currency, subtotal, tax, discounts, payment type, and the full line items with quantity, unit price and total price.
Can I choose which fields I get back?+
Yes. Custom-schema mode lets you define exactly the fields you want in plain language — no JSON or code required — and the AI returns only those, in your structure.
What formats can I export to?+
Excel (XLSX), CSV and JSON. You can download any of them in one click after the extraction finishes.
Can I take a photo instead of scanning?+
Yes. A photo from your phone works as well as a flatbed scan — just upload the JPG or PNG.
